Harris County MUD 64 Provides Many Useful Services
GARBAGE & RECYCLING
You might have noticed that we have the contact information for Garbage & Recycling on our WHMA website (see https://www.williamsburghamlethoa.com/#local-and-emergency-contact-info).
Did you know that our neighborhood also offers plastic bag recycling? You can now recycle thin plastic bags as long as they are bundled together. These include bags from grocery stores, the thin plastic sleeve on newspapers, or wrapping on dry cleaning. The bags must be tied together and put into another bag - no loose bags. So, if you are accumulating those to take back to the store, you now have another option. Again, as long as they are all tied together, contained in one bag, and not loose, Best Trash will pick them up.
The latest recycling guidelines are found at the Best Trash website. Here is a link to the most recent list: https://www.best-trash.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Recycle-Flyer-for-website.pdf.
There is a new text alert system available for the residents of Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 64. This system is designed to keep you informed of issues related to the District in a quick manner. You may receive short messages in text alert format related to the Water Service in the District, with a link back to the District’s website where the remainder of the information can
be viewed.
To receive these short text alerts related to your water service, just text MUD64 to 832-850-1405. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your current service provider or plan.

GRATITUDE
Are you ready to celebrate Thanksgiving? Aren't you grateful every day? Have you thanked a member of your family, a neighbor, friend, or board member for all they mean to you, for what they do for the community or for just being a good neighbor. This might be a good time to begin.
Our WHMA Board of Directors (https://www.williamsburghamlethoa.com/#our-board-calendar) offers everyone a big thanks for keeping our community safe (if you see something, say something - https://www.williamsburghamlethoa.com/#contact-us), for the continued maintenance of your properties and homes, and for the opportunity to be of service.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
