WHAT IS MY WILLIAMSBURG HAMLET MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATION ACCOUNT NUMBER?
Good question! The account number assigned to all WHMA property owners is simple – it is the address of the property where you reside located in the Williamsburg Hamlet Maintenance Association (WHMA) subdivision.
HOW & WHEN TO USE MY WHMA ACCOUNT NUMBER?
Anytime you are communicating with the Board or the Association, you should provide your property address for reference. This includes all written communications and all email communications.
In addition, to ensure that your maintenance fees are applied to the correct account, you MUST write your WHMA property address on your check, money order or cashier’s check.
The Accounting Department of WHMA spends numerous hours each year trying to identify where to apply funds received with an (old) account number that is no longer in use. Some property owners make their payments using company checks that are not associated with their property or with a bank check that is missing the property owner’s name and address but instead are using the old account number already discontinued.
So please, when making a payment to WHMA, use your Williamsburg Hamlet’s property address on your check, money order or cashier’s check.
NOTE: The Williamsburg Hamlet Maintenance Association does NOT accept cash, credit/debit cards or online payments.
Your immediate and thoughtful adoption of this process is much appreciated!
